Mobility since 2010
Our goal as an association is to reduce the number of cars in Erlangen. To this end, we want to enable people to use cars for their needs without having to own cars themselves .
Since our founding in 2010 and our first vehicle in 2011 , we have been able to expand our offering to almost 40 vehicles at almost 30 locations in the Erlangen city area, as well as in the surrounding area, which can be easily booked via a modern app.
As a member—both as an individual and as an organization— you enjoy a range of benefits. Not only do you have affordable packages to choose from, you can also have a say in the future of our association.
Thanks to our partnership with Flinkster, our members have also been able to access all services in the Flinkster network since summer 2014—thousands of vehicles in hundreds of cities nationwide, as well as in Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Italy.
Thanks to our cooperation with VG Uttenreuth, which has been in place since 2012, the citizens of the municipalities of Uttenreuth, Buckenhof, Spardorf, and Marloffstein can also access our services. The municipalities themselves benefit from the partial exclusive provision of a bus for various purposes and organizations, such as school transport, the youth club, or the volunteer fire department.
Further cooperation agreements exist, for example, with the Hotel Luise, the Medical Valley Center, and GeWoBau Erlangen, which provides us with parking spaces on its property and promotes the use of our services to its tenants.
The association's board works on a voluntary basis and currently has eight members and a chairperson. The general meeting is the highest decision-making body and determines the strategic direction of the board's work. Several employees and assistants work for the association, both in operational management and in fleet management.

Our membership rates
As a member, you can save money and have a say in how the association is run.
You pay an annual membership fee and a deposit, which you will get back when you leave.
This entitles you to significant price advantages when using our vehicles.
Your membership
- A one-time admission fee of €40.00 is always charged for the admission of a member. This is automatically collected upon registration.
- The reduced membership fee is only available to people on low incomes (students, trainees, pensioners, recipients of basic income support, ErlangenPass holders), Gewobau tenants, and spouses of full members (living in the same household).
- Proof of eligibility must be provided annually without being requested.
- The deposit of €300.00 is only possible with a positive Schufa credit check, which must be attached to the proof. Without this, the deposit is €500.00.
- To take advantage of the reduced membership, you have to first join as member and send us your proof using this form. Follow the instructions there thoroughly to
- Members of the communities and organizations with which we cooperate (as of November 28, 2025: Uttenreuth, Buckenhof, Spardorf, Marloffstein, Herzowerke Herzogenaurach, users of the Gewobau online tenant portal) do not have to pay any additional deposit. The decisive factor here is the place of residence at the time of registration or the corresponding proof. Changes to the place of residence must be reported to us immediately.
